Prisutni nastavnici su se detaljnije upoznali sa inovativnim pristupom nastavi kroz primenu tematske, interdisciplinarne, nastave, tj. sa potrebom povezivanja nastavnih sadržaja iz drugih predmeta sa nastavom stranog jezika. Na kraju prvog dela obuke nastavnici su dobili zadatak da u grupi isplaniraju tematsku celinu po izboru i primene je u praksi što će i prikazati 19. marta.

Joan Kang Shin), profesor primenjene lingvistike Univerziteta Merilend, i mr Vera Savić, nastavnik stranog jezika Fakulteta pedagoških nauka Univerziteta u Kragujevcu. Voditeljke seminara u Kikindi bile su Gordana Klašnja i Anica Đokić, akreditovani treneri iz Novog Sada.
