Okružno takmičenje 2009.

Okružno takmičenje za osnovce održano je 21. marta. Okupilo je 20 takmičara, a samo troje se plasiralo na Republičko takmičenje 16. maja: prvoplasirana Eliza Dupak iz OŠ „Jovan Popović“ u Čoki, mentor Timea Feher, drugoplasirani Konstantin Janojlić iz OŠ „Žarko Zrenjanin“, mentor Vera Karadžin, i trećeplasirana Dunja Ilić iz OŠ „Sveti Sava“, mentor Dragana Videnov. Svi su rešavali test iz engleskog jezika (razumevanje čitanjem, test iz gramatike, pisanje sastava) i zadovoljili na usmenom delu.

Critical and Creative

Četvrti deo izbornog seminara „Nastavnik nastavniku” Oxford Centra iz Beograda održan je 14. marta 2009. i bio je posvećen čitanju i pisanju, procesu i veštinama pisanja, počecima pisanja u mlađem školskom uzrastu, motivaciji...

Project Competition

Win yourself a place at the Oxford Teacher’s Academy in England!

The English Book, exclusive representative and distributor of Oxford University Press ELT publications, would like to invite you to participate in Project Competition titled ‘Project on Project’.

Prizes

First two prizes – two teachers will get places at the Oxford Teacher’s Academy course from 28th July to 1st August 2009. The prize will include:

Third, fourth and fifth prize – Three teachers will get sponsorship for ELTA conference and annual memberships.

The course

The 3 day course: Principles and Practices of Teaching Young Learners, will involve training on aspects of teaching that are central to Project, although it will not be course-specific. On completion of the course, teachers will receive a certificate from Oxford University Department of Continued Education (subject to confirmed attendance sheets).
The course will take place in the Oxford University Press building in Great Clarendon Street.


Who can participate?

Teachers who are familiar with the Project Course book.

Requirements

•  To create a project on the course book Project (e.g. why students and teachers enjoy the course; benefits of the course; methodology of the course…) For reference and additional information on the course book visit www.oup.com/elt/project
•   Length of the project should be no more than 350 words.
•   Send it under a code name or number (for confidential reasons and fair play) by 31st March 2009 by e-mail to oljamilovic@englishbook.rs or asjakarapandza@englishbook.rs  or by post to The English Book, Staro Sajmiste 29, 11070 Novi Beograd.
• The code names of runners-up will be published on The English Book website www.englishbook.rs on 3rd  April 2009. The selected runners-up should inform us of their names and schools within a week – by 10th April 2009.
