Headway Competition

Win a 2-week teacher training course with Oxford University Press!

Since 2004, the Headway Scholarship programme has given teachers from individual countries a very special professional development experience. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, the 2014 competition is open to all Headway teachers!

Theme is “Headway makes a difference – to students, to teachers and to the community.”

You can illustrate your own personal Headway story with a presentation, video, photo collage, podcast - whatever best captures the spirit of Headway for you.

The prize is a place on the English Language Teachers Summer School, a 2-week course held at Exeter College, Oxford in July 2014. Up to four teachers will win a place on the course, including a return flight, accommodation, and a certificate from Oxford University on completion of the course.

The English Book - Oxford Day 2013

U subotu, 9. novembra 2013. godine, u Velikoj sali Sava centra u Beogradu održan je The English Book Oxford Day.

Profesor Dejvid Kristal (David Crystal) je pričao o budućnosti engleskog jezika (The Future of Englishes), Adrian Tenant (Adrian Tennant) je pokušao da "podigne sistem" (Teacher Rebooting), dok je Lindzi Klendfild (Lindsay Clandfield) prikazao razvoj društvenih mreža (Developing in the Social Network). Na kraju, Džen Blejk (Jan Blake), čuveni svetski pripovedač, otkrila je prisutnima tajne pripovedanja (What is a storyteller?).

Za kraj seminara The English Book je prisutnima priredio poklon-iznenađenje – koncert grupe The Bestbeat.
